“Must Love Dogs”
Saturday, September 17th, 2005A romantic-comedy with a shallow story but still worth to watch for those who seeks fun and something lite. Starting with interviews on "How do you meet man/woman?
It’s about Sarah [Diane Lane], 40-sumthin and charming, a preeschool teacher and Jake [John Cusack], A boat designer. Both a divorcee, who tries to look for a new love and perhaps a soulmate. Her family offers a lot of help in finding her a new man. Until her profile shows up in an online match-making website, with a "must love dogs" tagline. Then one day she borrowed his brother’s dog to meet this guy, Jake, at the dog park. And the story continues.. With a funny twist in the middle including an affair with her student’s father. Soooo funny and sometimes touchy.
I’ll give it a 6,5 out of 10. But I had fun watching it.
